Mind Mystifying Designs had the pleasure of being the Makeup Artist and Photographer for “Rock Chiq” Bridal Line release at Ayurvastram in Los Altos on May 1, 2011. We used the Natural Pallete of colors for the look on all models for the bridal theme to enhance the clothing. We used the BH Cosmetics 88 Color Neutral Palette along with some of the Glittery Pigments from Jesse’s Girl! Lips were by M.A.C. and BH Cosmetics. Here is a video interview I did along with the Owner of the boutique where the show was featured along with an interview from Indu Aroura from Rock Chiq. I also placed images below the video! Selina/Gabby Sisters Shoot

I had a session over the weekend with some adorable sisters this weekend. Gabriella and Selina had so much fun playing dress up today and getting their pictures taken. I think its very important for kids to have fun and boost their self confidence. Children these days are very quiet, reserved and not confident or happy with themselves. I know when I was a kid I used to love to play with makeup and put my moms clothes on and pretend to be someone else. Just for that moment I felt a million times better.

I got the permission of my future sister-in-law to play “dress up” with her girls. I recorded myself doing their makeup. I am currently editing the videos for the site showing you how I got these looks and what products I used. When we were done with the makeup and wrapping up the shoot, Selina wanted to record a little video crediting me for doing their makeup. Check out the video here. I have also put a little gallery of images below the video. Keep checking back for more images to be added. There were a lot of fun photos.

We have posted out first video tutorial. We are working on the others for makeup but to hold you over we are going to post a tutorial on Nail Polish. We compare Mia Secret and OPI. The results are amazing! Watch for your self!

I am a RAW Artist!!!!

MMD and my team had the amazing opportunity to be the featured Makeup Artist at the San Francisco Raw ARTcade Showcase. The event was a success. We did makeup for 9 beautiful models and the end of the show was a fashion show. Indu Aroura with “RockChiq” was amazing and was able to show off her new Spring 2011 line. The clothes were Navy Blue with some Orange. I loved all the looks! I am going to be updating this post for awhile as I compile all the content together. To start.. The video interview. What do you think?? It’s my first one and it was FREEZING and raining outside.. Plus I was nervous.. Could you tell? LOL
